Proposals must be received no later than May 1st, 2017.
The Scientific Committee for the 9th World Congress of the World Institute of Pain will establish the scientific program of WIP 2018 on the basis of proposals from the membership, as well as supporting agencies, WIP sections, and associated societies.
WIP values your opinion and seeks to ensure that the next World Congress builds upon the successes of the New York meeting in 2016.
Proposals for plenary or topical sessions, hand-on workshops, or other interactive sessions must complete the Proposal Form on this page.
Plenary sessions and topical sessions may have up to 3 speakers, which may include the moderator.
Where feasible and appropriate, topical sessions should emphasize basic science, state-of-the-art update, and new or innovative developments on the horizon.
Before you submit your proposal, please also prepare the following information to upload to the form:
- A CV of the proposer
- A CV for each speaker proposed to include affiliations and email contact.
This must also include a listing of the most relevant peer-reviewed publications on the topic the speaker will address
Disclosures from each proposed speaker will be requested as part of the form.
